¶Updating Cloud Key firmware manually

I have a very old Cloud Key 1, which is “Vintage” hardware according to Ubiquiti. (I love the terminology!)

Even though it can't be updated to the absolute latest Unifi software, it was still quite out of date. Updating via the Web UI wasn't working. After some tinkering, I was able to use a manual SSH update — but even that didn't work following the stock instructions!

Here's what did work:

• Use the Cloud Key's local web UI to download the latest firmware.
• scp the firmware to the Cloud Key as /boot/fwupdate.bin.
• Reboot.
